Basketball and Education​
 

 1World Sports Management is an American company based out of the USA, with charters in Latin America, Europe, and Africa with a primary goal to provide former N.B.A players/draftees, ABA, C.B.A, or European Basketball League players and/or people that were drafted by professional basketball teams the opportunity to promote basketball and the benefit associated with the sport to young basketball players of the USA, Latin America, Europe, Africa and globally. As current/former players and ambassadors of the sport of basketball these players also promote collegiate scholarships and 1World Sports Academy, based on a young athletes ability will contact colleges and universities in the players behalf and go out their way to help obtain scholarships for young aspiring individuals to further their interest in pursuing sports and educational placement in the United States. We currently work with over 40 colleges and universities that will accept athletes on a full scholarship basis.

We believe education dramatically change a person’s life, not to mention the improvement of their family and the community as a whole. We feel basketball and sports can be the beginning to achieving a higher education for many young adults that could never afford school. Sports also teach some of life’s best lessons to succeed. It teaches one how to cope with life’s wins and losses; creates determination, teamwork, and drive. 1World is responsible for sending 32 Basketball players to Universities and colleges in the last 3 years. All our coaches are former N.B.A, ABA, C.B.A, or European Basketball League draftees and/or players.
